Veneers, also called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates, are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials. They are individually built and are bonded to the teeth.
Technical description Procedure – To cement the veneers, the external surface of the tooth must be trimmed. Preparation for a veneer procedure is less traumatic than for crowns, since it requires more trimming.
